Interim Management Consultant Needed to Implement Processes and Procedures for Accounting and Finance Teams
Challenge
A contracting services company and wholly-owned subsidiary of a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) company needed to implement processes and procedures within their accounting and finance organization.
Solution
Based on our experience and knowledge of the accounting process, Beacon Hill Financial provided an interim management consultant, recommended process changes and system automation, and eliminated non-value-added steps. Our management consultant documented every aspect of the close process, including profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheets, and they processed documents for each workstream—showing the steps required to complete source system information, files, review, and validation.
Achievements
We successfully implemented processes and procedures for our client, and our client maintained daily operations while our management consultant implemented the documentation.
